Some very cool stuff. Anyone know what kind of truck the red 6-wheeler was? Another Alvis model maybe?
p.s. I'd love to show up there with the Dodge Power Wagon in my avatar. We got to use one to do fieldwork in Mexico one summer and I thought it was just the coolest.

Great video, the red 6 wheeler looks like an Alvis to me. It's the way the Bedford chassis twists that never ceases to amaze me.

Yeah, I was wondering if the Bedford actually had a swivel-frame but I think it's a rigid chassis(?)
Here's my Power Wagon avatar with swivel-frame option. Pretty advanced for a truck nearing retirement age:

I wish we'd had one of these in Mexico but even the rigid frame is a thing of rugged beauty.

I can't believe that thing doesn't just go straight to the bottom. That's a lot of weight.

Great vid! Looks like there was a couple of full size, 40a Bedfords, a 64a Scammell wrecker
and a 12a/b landrover in the mix as well.

Some more great vid of an Alvis and Scammells in action. BTW - love those Scammell wreckers. I think the guy in the tank is having fun:
