Recent lot ended 201004228763 , please be careful . I have seen a base picture of the red 55 it does not look right.
Also maybe some other models as well in other lots.
Just thinking about it I think Numi or someone has flagged up this seller before?

There is also a 53 Aston Martin in Australia with BPW and non-metallic red paint currently listed. A warning to Bidders on that rare one that we have all been looking for. An inspection of the hood chipping and front grill red overpaint leads me to believe this one has been repainted, but is not listed that way by the Seller in his description of the model. Because he has several 'rares' listed now, one just assumes he is a knowledgable Seller of rare Lesneys. I have not listed the Item Number because it is a current sale, but felt the need to send out a similar warning to everyone viewing this Aston Martin. Merry Christmas and Happy shopping! kwakers

Dick , No -one cares if it is a current auction and never have .

I just had a look at mine and can see the description says rare red . This is an error and has been fixed at once .

Thanks for the link to your Sale Gary! The other Aston from Australia is listed as non-metallic red paint, and should not be confused at all with your genuine rare metallic red paint model you are now offering on a 'Buy it Now'. If I had realized you also had a similar Aston listed, to avoid any confusion I may not have even discussed the other Seller's overpainted model here. I do suggest the other Seller take his coin or watch loop and view the chipped hood on his listed rare non metallic red Aston closer. The red paint on top of the silver grill may also be a hint to him on his example that it is clearly overpainted (??). kwakers
