27c gpw maroon base ?

I'm not sure what to make of this one.. this Caddy came in a small lot that I recently bought.
It has the same color base as my purple 39b Pontiac, so I believe the base is the Maroon in color.
The color of the body seems to be the metallic brown with the pink roof, has green windows(unfortunately damaged), and has type 2 trim-front bumpers and tail lights. It also seems to have gpw although the drivers side rear wheel appears to be a spw it's a bit hard to tell...but 3 of the 4 are definitely grey. I don't see one like this in the variation tables. Not sure if it's a variation or a whoops?

Just prior to the old forum upgrade I sent Nick a note about the 27c maroon or crimson base plate with gpw.( with Nicks heavy workload I had it on my to do list to follow up at some point)
While it does not appear in the variation table Nick does show this combination in the 4th line of the price guide.(the third value line)
With that I assumed there was a tiny error in the table.
There are shiny gpw and matt finish gpw that sometimes appear on the 27c together so yours may have all four gpw.
The 27c Lilac with crimson base plate gpw 9 x 24 is also a Stannard code 10
The underside of your model appears to have the metallic lilac shade. Can you confirm?

There does seem to be a bit of the lilac shade on the underside, however there seems to be no lilac visible on the body side of the model when looking at it by eye. However the camera ( a not so great one) does seem to show some trace elements of lilac in the photo. I don't know if the color fades, but the body color resembles the color that is noted as brown metallic in the photo on Nicks variations page.

In the variation tables it notes a difference between the crimson and maroon bases, so I was assuming they were two different colors. I thought my example might be the maroon colored one ,as it is the exact same color as the base on the 39b which is listed only as "maroon".

As Mike mentioned.. hard to tell with the model , seems it has many variations.

All Matchbox toys will fade and change colour if left in sunlight. usually turning them over will reveal what the original colour was by looking at the wheel arches, door sills and the underside of the bumper, but for us to try and identify any colour shade the models must be photographed outside in natural daylight without using a flash.
