Spot the gem? RED SF32 BP truck

Post by Dr Jazz »

Well I took a chance on this one. It´s from a remote place in Denmark and probably to good to be true :) But if you dont try you will never win ;) It will arrive this week and I will know for sure. Can you see the gem (or not)

Yes :-) I asked the guy 3 times if it is a repaint, he says that he can not see any green or blue on it and it does not look like a repaint. But I have heard that before :-) I just dont no what a red cab NAMC tanker should do in that remote place, so im sceptic! But got the lot for 18£ with shipping so in 2 days we will know :-) It would be fantastic!!

I like your chances of having a real red cab example - the colour looks spot on but if enamel over green it would look darker not so bright. Nobody knows how many odd models got boxed up and shipped rather than scrapped, this could well be one!
You wont lose money on this lot, the Corgi Mini,Marina plus Sabra Olds + Mustang are worth £18 alone

Thanks Mick. There are some models in that lot, that looks interesting. The color does look like the red cab tanker so I hope. We will see :-)

Thanks Johnboy :-) It must be a SF, right? Red cab was only made for the NAMC? The seller said it has BP stickers.....

Unless it's a repainted rw. I was thinking initially it may be from the short run of SF with special stickers, so we'll have to wait and see......

Interesting, I though it might have been a playworn namac which must make it pretty unique, please let us know what it is....
