That is a great body color along side those wheels. Wish I was the deep pockets bidder.

Wow.. I've been watching that one for a while, currently at £921.00 :o

This also makes me think, which is the most expensive Superfast model ever sold on eBay via bidding? Do records exist of it?

I know who the buyer is.

He was a member on the old Forum and a prolific big spending collector of anything Matchbox. I think in fairness to him a will not name him, hopefully he will sign up to this new forum soon and post some images of this very expensive Merc.

Good, thanks motorman, now I atleast know that he's not a troll, but rather a guy who really has all that money to spend ;)

In that case - me too can't wait to see some additional pictures, and probably, comparisons against the other variations?

I'm not sure how to take this response. If I outbid you on something will I be called a troll too? Does every bidder have to be identified?

No, I don't mean that. Well I'm a bit curious too myself, but atleast I know he's just a serious collector now. Nothing else.

However, it's kinda very annoying/frustrating for example, when you see one bidder bidding certain amount of money on all items that are currently listed by a seller/with the inclusion of items you're currently watching, just to figure out he either can afford this or is just a troll, ending in too overpriced items or seeubg them relisted. Such cases were increasing by recently, as I've seen few guys that were bidding in similar way, for example about a MIB Rover 3500 Police, few days later the item would get relisted, and the answer I got from seller, was that the bidder never contacted him nor sent payment. In the end, I wasted twice the time of watching the item to end and bidding, not to mention on the second run it reached double the amount of money from the first run...
