On my quest for the still elusive non tow guide white base I have come acroos this early body. The body is thinner where the tipper pivot pin is fitted .
1.5mm on the new right model and 2mm on the left model.
Putting this model I would say before the code 1.

Nice one Jason, I'll check mine. It may be the photo but are the axle mounts the same size? and the ridge around the tipper flap looks thinner on the right hand model.

Hi Jason, a very nice variation but no luck with my few. Another one to look out for though

i have a yellow bodies with thin (1) and thick (2) axle pivots the one with thin has a douglas label and the two thick ones...one has douglas and the other pointer labels

all my orange ones all have thick axle pivots...7 total

yes it does have the base with tow guide

Interestingly, the red label variation has the thin tipper pivot supports, whilst the enigmatic black and white label version has the thick ones.

Oh no - now i will have to dig out all the ol´beaters again! :O
