Hello Numi! As you know, I have in fact responded Sept. 27 with details of your lost Saladin, which was my chief concern because both you and I distinctly remembered me receiving it. As I had said last week in my unanswered notes from my new Asus to you, your package went out last week....... Our Family was very busy the month of October with School, College, a change of Job for me, Another unpaid week off, both the Carlisle and Hershey Car Shows, and finally the computer loss the week before you Posted this. Your Dad did reply that he was going away, so I did hear back from him last week. That Saladin has now been found in its packing and original shipping box as you know, but by shipping your package last week it was not able to be included. I am a Very Snail Paced and Busy Part Time Lesney collector for fun, not profit. As more of your models kept arriving weekly in Aug. and Sept., I saw no hurry in doing your package till September when the Saladin was discovered as missing. You may verfy that I am snail paced with MANY members here still awaiting responses, Stannards copies, info, etc. All models I owe anyone are sent out now, with Mick SMS having to wait a record 6 months patiently for his package to arrive. My copies that Post Net goofed up for Joe and John are now my Top Priority. If there was any doubt that your models and Dad's coins were safe Numi, I am extremely distressed at that.
When your package arrives, Please share Joys or any further concerns here so that I can publicly satisfy both you and Pop1. Any Help you may need, I am still here with 49 years of Lesney knowledge. I want to publicly appologize for my delay on this here and now, and also wish to Thank You and Dad for helping me locate some collection needs. I now have both a compact Asus Pad that I have troubles using, and also now my old replacement Dell still using Windows Vista, but I am still the same old snail paced guy with enough projects and worries for any ten normal men. Hey Dick I know what your like and in the past we used to hold boxes for each other (remember the old mcch days) where we could hold things for months on end with members adding to the boxes every few weeks. I myself have held boxes for a few months at a time and have indeed recently sent you a box that has been in my possession for 3 months or so while you added to it and never once did you chase me up as I know that's how some work. I am still holding a couple of models for you and did'nt put them in the last box as it took it over the heighest weight for cheap postage and no doubt you will add to it and get it sometime in the new year. Unfortunately some of the newer collectors need there items yesterday and have no patience, but that is there choice. Me I don't mind the old slow mo way but can understand if others want there items ASAP, especially if it's a nice goodie they've wanted for a long time. Hope you have sorted your PC problems out at long last and the job is going well ?

This past week has given us a Great Holiday Tim, but yet another day off without pay from the new company. This time of year is so busy in the tire business, we always ran 6 days a week into January with the old company to try and keep up with our customers. The new operation is just so limited in sorting, storage, and processing space, we drivers are limited to being able to service only a fraction of our routes lately. Thanks for asking, I will survive even if the new company falters during it's early life. Getting only 4 days of work every week will lose us our hard earned customers, as well as send we drivers looking elsewhere for our 'Toy Money'.......
I am enjoying this old full size keyboard again, hopefully this rehabbed Dell will last more than the 8 months of trouble free service the last one gave me.
I just could not be a Seller in today's fast paced world. Hobbies have always been for relaxing enjoyment in my life, Sloooow relaxing enjoyment. Dick

Hello Dick, your reasons for all the delays with models, you said you were slow, as I had not received the two items you were going to send me, as they did not arrive after three months I just assumed you had changed your mind and did not send them. As I did not receive any emails from you about them. ;)

No George, kwakers is still in motion on our #15 Dennis variations, but always studies and learns Very, Very slooowly. I in fact have had a load of #15s out of the collection, and also all our boxed spares right next to my computer for those 3 months to now re-study. Boy does my wife hate that...... I may have made a mistake similar to the one kernelklink made on E Bay when he offered an unknown Stannard variation of this Dennis 4 -5 months ago. I believe both he and I may have been measuring the wrong end of those framerails, coming up with a thicker on one side and a thinner on the other type close to the cab. If I go to the end back by the mudguards as shown right in Stannard's illustrations, (Duuuh) mine may in fact all fit into his codes as being the same width there when measured correctly. I am still not quite sure on this yet....... Every Sat. and Sunday night I feel I will have the energy to check through 20 of these and double check their codes, but so far I have had little time because of family commitments most every weekend now. I had logged in 3 months of received models just before the Carlisle Car Show in early October, but since then have spent all spare time finishing off the 1/4 of our 3rd floor roof I barely completed this Summer. Snow has now settled here a bit early, so my planks are still left in place waiting to come off one sunny day.
Have faith George, the news will come, but it may not be as Positive as I first believed. The Lefora site change and all other factors I listed in Numi's note above have factored into a rushed possible mistake? in cataloging on my part on that 15, but time will tell. I will look these over carefully and get back to you after I have studied them. I may have in fact gotten both of us excited about 2 new Stannard types I discovered that may not exist.
I am now trying to contact Nick this A.M. about 2 auctions I won yesterday. Without Pay Pal, I am now at his mercy to help me arrange payments on these two that have been on my major 'Want List' for over 40 years now. Jason made a move on that purple convertible during the end of that sale, saving me from personal Bankruptcy and death by my Nurse Wife....LOL. (Nice and very tough variation there Jason, also on that list of mine!).......%#*@ You , LOL
Let Me Thank Nick in advance for giving us Forum members a chance at some terrific rare variations out of his collection. When you are talking this caliber of model, any rule of value simply goes out the window because legit examples seldom change hands. kwakers
