That's because he's a massive Deep Purple fan! Have spent many an hour discussing rock music with him.

Thanks Bob, that explains a lot!

Can I take this opportunity to thank Alex ("Motorman"), for traveling down to the NEC to see his fellow forum collectors and for bringing little Dylan with him. I was quite surprised during the event to be given a gift from Dylan of a really clean and tidy #44b Rolls-Royce Phantom V, thank you Dylan, it will be a special model in my entire collection and I promise I will never sell it and look forward to meeting you again one Day.

Also thank's to the Guys in the above pictures for always being so friendly when we meet up like that. Its not easy trudging around all those stalls picking up endless models and paying good Money for them, especially all those common models like Yellow Victors without dash panels, it is tiring...

Ghosty.

Thanks Kevin, Dylan is in bed now absolutely exhausted, but he took time out to show his mum the very thoughtful gift you gave him. He even told his mum never to remove it from the box as it is in mint condition and has now put it on his display shelf. You made my son feel very welcomed and he loved the personalised message you included on the box. Can't thank you enough mate :D

Thank's Alex, I think you have an up and coming great little new collector in your Son. My gift to Him was a way of recording our meeting and would love to be with him in another Ten Years time to see if he still has an interest in models and weather the Silver Ghost still means anything to him, it was my pleasure Alex.

Ghosty.

nice to see you all again and here's to Sandown (we're going to have to try to get you to that one Al)
