If you wish to pursue a claim against VTATDML, you will need to present clear evidence (including photographs for comparison purposes) on this Forum rather than referencing evidence on another website.

just caught up with this post
the climate models in question were first exposed by blinga1 (yes I know what some are thinking) this resulted in a slanging match on f/b between him and Raj
there was a meeting at Sandown where the labels were confirmed to be fake by several people including Raj himself, as were on a previous meeting some of his other models a base swap blue #53 zodiac. ##9 green escort with red interior and #29 racing mini which had a silver painted base are the ones I can remember

Stevens earlier comment on the history of this episode is correct and as a small note it was this incident that sparked the arrival of the fakes f/b page with Jack Odell and Angus Young as admin

Thanks for the update, Reg.
If I understand you correctly, VTATDML conceded that the labels were fake. If so, the question then becomes were the models put up for sale in the full knowledge that they were fakes, or did this only become apparent to VTATDML once the discussion took place. If the former, then they should no longer appear on VBD's trusted seller voting list. If the latter, there is no issue. (We all make mistakes.)

To my knowledge Raj did not pull the climat models off eBay following the Sandown meeting quite the opposite he actually took the opportunity to add a comment to the listing stating that despite some people trying to rubbish the climat models he was selling as fakes they were in fact 100% genuine. A short time later the Matchbox fakers site on FB went live and immediately started to list models that Danny James Blinga and Paul Carr had previously sold were all fakes without giving any evidence to support it. Interestingly Reg, Danny, myself and Paul Carr joined their little group only to be banned within a few hours when we started to question their motives and why they were hiding behind the ridiculous pseudonyms when we knew exactly who they were.
I also received rather unsavoury private messages from Raj after the event in which he really showed his true colours. Not a likeable person.

I've been blocked 3 times for requesting to join , I set up 2 fake accounts to see what would happen , they had no links to myself and had separate email addresses (all now deleted) it was an interesting experiment as I could view the site but as soon as I put in a request to join they were blocked making it impossible to view ….it seems to be an invite only club to keep the pretence pure
btw they also accuse Graham Hamilton of selling fakes , coincidence as he was the one that outed the zodiac, escort and mini
as Al has said someone's true colours are coming through, althogh he is happy to bid on blinga1's auctions and was under bidder on his Japanees gift set that sold tonight ......very strange

I have just discovered that Ebay seller 1950-thames-trader" is actually none other than Les Duplock, formerly of Model Road & Rail in South London, and a stalwart of the swapmeet circuit in the 1980s. I've also seen him over the past few years at the NEC, but I'm not sure whether he still attends.
Anyhow, having just completed a very pleasing Ebay transaction with him, I would like to cast what appears to be the first vote in his favour (something I struggle to believe).
Surely other Members have done business with Les over the years and would like to cast a vote in his favour?

I bought an item from rockertron I think which was as described and arrived in a well packaged container in a timely manner.
All my collection is absolutely mint, sage and onion condition
