Hi everyone...3 of the ford group 6, the racing mini and my first boxed model other than matchbox...all but one ford are birthday gifts but added the recent one purchased too just to show the colour variations, for some reason I've been a little obsessed with these lately... Not usually one for collecting different variants but I really like the shape of this model..the lime green has the grey engine.
Thanks for looking

Those Fords look fabulous and it is when you see several together it makes you realize what one of the attractions is of such models. The Mini and Corgi Ferrari are very nice examples, Ferrari in particular looking to be in very good condition, not easy to find these like that as the bare metal 'Cross-Wire' wheel rims often look very dark and dull, Corgi not actually going as far as plating them. In the picture, yours don't look too bad.

Thanks for the comments guys and yes it does look like I'm starting on the different variations which I said I wouldn't do, oh well I suppose I could have worse habits.
And thanks for pointing that out Ghosty regarding the corgi, it's something I wasn't aware of...I have added a closer photo of the wheels and one with the engine bay open to show the difference of the spare wheel or was the spare wheel and engine plated...?
Cheers Lee

The spare wheel in the rear compartment is indeed plated and will likely always look bright and shiny. Shame they could not plate the road wheels as well!
