Hi John,
For the price you paid for the 35 you can not only get that bus fare and fish supper and at least a deposit on Alex’s model.
I have turned the light on in the cab of my 35 and the glazing roof rivet is only a positioning guide. It looks like the glazing is sitting on an extension of the plastic base grille. Is the grille pressed in a little that is jamming the glazing on yours?
To move the glazing try a little double sided tape on a soft stick or use folded masking tape with sticky side facing out after checking to see if the glazing rivet hole lines up with the rivet. Led torch is handy here.
I have taken some pics of my 35c set of plastic parts I got from John Nijhuis but I would like to keep them in the packets John sent them to me in.
I hope to use these as educational tools starting with a grandson as I direct him towards becoming a little engineer.
Let me know if you need another photo angle.
Bert
