I have lots more like this but I'm a bit embarrassed posting them as I always have to get someone else to resize them for me!!!!!!
I can't find anywhere on my computer to help me with it. I've also tried seeing if I can reset the photo sizes on the camera.
I did suggest that may be the photo re sizing app could be down loaded onto the site to help people like me but got no reply so guess it can't be done.

Try right clicking on the picture and see if you can open it in "paint" there should be an option to resize I use about 500/600 pixels

If your images are saved on a computer with a Microsoft operating system then 'Paint' editing software will already be preloaded onto your computer. To resize your photo go to your saved image in your photo library. Open the image then right click your mouse. You should now see a list of options including an 'Edit' option. Click edit and this should open your image in 'paint'. Resize your image to 600 pixels then save the resized image to a new folder. Use this new saved image for uploading to forum. It is relatively straight forward and after a couple of attempts you will soon be expert at it.

Hi Steve,

If you're a Mac user ……….
After you've imported your photos from your camera to your computer into a photo editor (I've got iPhoto since I'm on a Mac computer) you can then export them to your desktop.
When you export select medium (as I've done with your photos).
You can use the posting Preview button

to check the size before Submitting.

Your camera may have different resolution settings that allow you to alter the picture size on my Canon A700 I can alter from S (small) to L (large)
Here's a photo on S setting

Roger, would you be awfully nice and do something in the 'Edit Your Photos' thread (in The Lounge), about posting from an Apple Macbook, as I have not touched on members using Macbook laptops and I have only just started to use one myself. I would be very grateful to you if you could add something, thank's.

Ghosthunter.
