Thank you Roland. Yes, I like to think he is at rest now with no more demons snapping away at the precious delicate life he had and I hope he can guide me through the rest of my life and forgive me for any bad moments I may have displayed in front of him.

Thank you Stephan. I don't have a picture of the both of us to hand, but among his private papers which I now need, I found this type of Passport picture, which is making him look rather pensive.

The picture is not dated but taken before Christmas Eve 2013 which is when I moved in with him. I certainly was not with him when he went to have it done, so I think he is 79 or 80 in the picture.
