Hello SMS88, Thanks for the extra pictures of the Land Rover and the mention that you will be prepaired to sell it, I was surprised by that. So I think the best thing for me to do is have it and if "Motorman" is reading this...no I won't cut it in half and stretch it into a Limo with a Rolls-Royce Grille grafted onto the front!!...

You have a 'PM' Mick.

Very nice collection Mick.
I'm still on the search for the orange / red Jaguar XK 140
But maybe I will find an original car in the Ennstal- Classic.

I went to visit a local dealer who is grossly overstocked. I spent almost double my budget money but didnt expect he would have one of these rare Corgi Junior carry case garages in good but not mint condition (£110!). I have seen the red Husky version a couple of times but not this one which may only have been in the 1970 collector catalogue.......
He also had 3 1971 24 car SF collector cases containing mint examples of different 1-75 series that were in a store for Christmas 1971 ( we guessed). 3 more were loose (54 Capri, 34 F1 Racer + 52 Dodge). I chose the best 10 cars from these for myself -a couple of upgrades in this 10 :geek: Loads of Spanish and Italian diecast from early 1970s in mint loose condition for around £20 each , i just picked the ones I wanted - Fiat 124 coupe has been on my wants list for 40 years ever since I first saw one in Reg Miles´Scale Models magazine column!

That's a super case, how nice to see something new (old) if you know what I mean. I've seen a couple of the red Husky cases with the dockside scene and the odd Corgi Tourist but never this one. Money well spent!

I went back to the overstocked dealer yesterday and bought 9 more cars from the 1971 collector cases - the pink/red Daimler is interesting in that it has a pink primer centre of the roof with red candycoat as used on #75 Berlinettas partly sprayed over most of the body.Stuff on the top deck came from the dealer (most are mint duplicates of what I already have) while bottom deck are flea market finds from this morning - 2 pink Marzals but distinctly different shades, the lower brighter one is new to my collection.
