Terry (if I may call you that), you clearly are annoyed at what is currently appearing within this thread. Certain issues regards some models have clearly been connected to you and it would be nice to get these issues sorted out once and for all. "Numi" may or may not be correct with her reasons for keeping on at you, but please understand that she has some serious questions that need answering and I know you feel she may be picking on you but if she has good reason for this, then I think it would in your interest to stay with us.

I have no problem with you staying on the forum and to see things develop to clear your name. If you have had dealings in the past with faked models then so be it and if you still dabble in them, just don't pass them on to the forum members through any Monetary methods, we do not like that sort of thing.

We would like you to come clean over anything to do with any bad practice regards Matchbox models you may have owned in the past, or do still own and in your defence at present, the models you have been showing on the forum do mostly seem genuine.

We have to let you have your say and put forward your reasons for any actions leveled at you due to reasons stated by "Numi" so do please stay with us, we want to be as civil as possible towards you to sort it all out.

Do you all realize that I've been maligned, castigated, ridiculed and my reputation tarnished as a matchbox collector by a woman who is 29 years old and been collecting for 5 count them 5 years! I have calluses older than her. I bought it least 10 collections before she was a twinkle in her mother's eyes! I started collecting and bought my first matchbox cars 30+ years before she was Born! She lives 9100 miles away from me in south Africa how in the world can she know what when and where I purchased my cars or the other items I collect. I feel like Paul trying to justify himself to the Corinthian's! I'm 61 years old the only people on this board treated treated me with decency are similar to my age! I've been to Russia four times preaching the gospel witnessed to black tar heroin addict's in St. Petersburg, been to the villages outside of Chernobyl because no one would go there to preach the gospel, witness to natives in the Andes Mountains who never saw a white person, went to the slums of Peru and taught school children the gospel and yet I've never been treated like I've been treated on this forum! Balls in my court! Bull, I joined this forum to show pictures of my collection, I posted pictures of my cougar three times at request I guess to see if I'm some kind of magician and know how to manufacture matchbox cars. I'm tired of all this! All over a 2 inch toy car! WOW.

Just as a footnote the guy who came to my house from the East Coast bought A gray barrel cement truck that I had listed and went over it with a jewelers magnifying glass and bought it on sight, along with three other cars! I'm pretty sure he was sent by someone on this forum as it turns out, Because he made telephone calls to someone to verify the item!

The separate tyre and separate wheel rim combination has been used on the early 'Pre-Pro' Cougar as shown on this example.

So it is conceivable they found their way on to the later 'Pre-Pro' models'.

I do not like the way this thread is going. VBD should not be peddling unsubstatiated alligations, ierrespective of who is on the receiving end and what their reputation might be. This is a forum for discussion and debate, not a kangaroo court. I am therefore (reluctantly) going to put my Site Admin. hat on and get the big stick out.

1) We will draw a line under all of the above.
2) If anyone has any doubts regarding any of the models shown on the Forum by Terry, please state them in order that Terry can reply appropriately, posting additional photographs/information as required.
3) If any Ebay-related allegations of malpractice and underhand dealings are made, they must be supported by links to the appropriate listings by way of evidence.

Any posts not conforming to the above will be deleted either in whole or in part (and i really mean it!).
