Its nice to see such a collection displayed as 'Complete' but even better if some associated ephemera can be included, very nice Bob.

I would have loved to find that Heinz sheet myself.

Gave the Y24 Bugattis a clean today, so a group shot was in order.

Superb collection and nicely presented Bob.

I know this is just the tip of an iceberg regards your collection and hope to visit you in the not too distant future to be totally enthralled by the bulk of it.

You almost have more Bugatti's then build of the real T44.

I know this later version is to new for you but I very much like this colorsheme for it:

The colour scheme is nice, but those terrible wheels/tyres ruin it.

A beautiful collection Bob, with me being new I’m trying to read and catch up on threads throughout the forum.

This advert and all it's many errors has been discussed before. Today I received some examples of the models used in the pictures.

Image
Y2 PHV is a nice rich blue without the hints of red that the production models have. Crimped axles, no battery box lid.

Image
Type 1 windscreen without sidelight braces.

Image
Y4 Opel again a richer orange than production and a more matt chassis. Crimped axles an a spare carrier from the early metal wheeled Simplex/Thomas. The example in the advert doesn't have this feature, but this model must have been made at the same time I think.

Image
Y8 Stutz has the tyupe 1 spare carrier/luggage component from the metal wheel version. Crimped axles again.

Image
Y9 Simplex another in a different shade to the production models. Type 1 spare carrier as on the Opel. Crimped axles.

Image
Y12 Thomas in a lovely metallic red, much nicer than the production purple. Spare carrier as the Opel. Crimped axles.

All the models have trial tyres on that only have the "shoulder tread pattern" on one side of the tyre.

I would love to find some of the other models on the advert, especially the Y6 Cadillac with type 1 spare carrier and smooth black roof, preproduction Y13 5 cleat RAF and the silver Y17 Hispano
