It's the Y15 Rolls with the non standard (existent) front mudguard! Or the Y8 Stutz with the black seat? Y16 Merc looks creamy rather than white, but that could just be the poor picture. Remember the Y13 Crossley uses the same seats as the Y8 Stutz......but my guess is the green Caddy without the roof, type 1 spare carrier??

I was hoping for the caddy to be exactly that but it is not unfortunately, a few wheel swaps and very similar to a job lot I got a while back. The caddy is very interesting as the seat has no pips what so ever for the roof, so I am not quite sure about that one as there is no Y number on the seat either.
The Y16 as you said does not look quite right, looked like a cross between the later white one and the old style with brass wheels but they are silver. Was quite shocked when I turned it over to have a look.
Looks like another friday special, the grill is yellow overpainted silver. Although well used I am very pleased as its my first early prepro Y16 Mercedes .J

Similar colour to this one.

and same very early baseplate, although this one has the earlier exhaust.

Odd that it's black underneath and body colour on top.

The Caddy seat is possibly a preproduction item similar to this one.

Thanks Bob for the info and pictures thats great, yes the black base and the rest in the off white makes me think it could be some sort of Friday special.

Is the rad emblem standard size or the larger one, is the trunk smooth or textured?

Picked up this broken 4c recently with a lot of extra metal over the front forks, shame about the side car but its a nice error piece for my collection.

Nice error Jason, that is pretty extreme.

Yes it’s not something I have seen before, even the other side on the front fork it still has a small part of the sprue which I have never seen before.
