the model still has tires - where is the ski?

Sorry, Stephan.
Tinman was not finished with the conversion (restoration) of the model. ;) :lol:

Mike,
That Cresta in the snow is in better shape than mine on the shelf. We have just been hit with 12-14 inches of snow here (more then I have seen in 35 years). I have boxed up as much of it as I could and am mailing it your way.

Today on a mountain hike with the maroon 17a.
Return through a narrow gorge.
A beautiful and demanding mountain hike.

Mike is that the cable for the chair lift you took to get to the top of that mountain just above you head in the image..........you have been rumbled mate!!!! We were all thinking you were a brilliant Mountaineer and all along you were hitching a ride on the mountain cable car!!!! :(

Don't take any notice Mike, perhaps it's a partial crack in the camera lens or an oversized aerial from the action-man radio pack? :D
