Just a comment on a few older Posts about your Toyfairs in England. From my own experiences here at our local Bi-Annual Toy Show in Albany N.Y., USA, some very nice items can be found if you are an earlybird, or are in fact looking for less obvious variations of the models we all collect. There was very limited interest in older Lesneys at our local Shows 8 years ago, when Nick's site drew me back to our beloved hobby. Now because of my own influence on select Sellers AND Buyers, more local vedors are now buying lots privately and bringing interesting small collections of regular wheels to re-sell now. There are also some part time vendors who are not on the computer, so they always bring some bargains along as they can find them. I have even now caused a couple of Hot Wheel collectors to gradually turn their attention towards early Lesneys, so there is now a growing "Market" for influencing what our vendors bring along to certain shows. If we all stay home and bid only with our fingers at a computer while still dreaming of the pre-computer shows of our youth, there soon may not be any Toy Shows left for us to attend. I personally am able to sometimes buy at 50% $$ value in person at smaller shows when I am early, and we all learn to ignore the high priced dudes with the same inventory at every show they attend. Save their overpriced models as the LAST we consider and look at as we shop. Our favorite Sellers AND their regular Buyers become friends, so the $$ and profits become less important to some Sellers as time passes. Also, to be able to spend an hour with some of our U.K. Forum friends would be priceless for this Yank, so please keep your Shows alive by attending as you can and meeting regularly with your further amusing comments here.........Kwakers
