I was pleased to add this lime gold #69 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Coupe to my collection. The paint work looks great with lime undertones.

It really is hard to find one in that condition Gene. I was very surprised no one else placed a bid on the job lot as the Guildsman was in full view.

I think it is one of those models that is often overlooked due to the fact that the standard model is pink, albeit much darker, and I think people just don't realise how hard a model it is to find. As Al says it was right there under everyone's noses and yet was still overlooked, great score mate.

I haven’t bought much of late, purse strings have tightened somewhat, anyway I was delighted to receive an early Christmas gift out of the blue from my good buddy Gene (zBret]. Couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened it to find this little beauty, a variation of the Hairy Hustler I had missing from my collection with Scorpion label and 137racing number and a lovely green baseplate, just need to get a nice box for it.
Once again a big thank you Gene, very generous of you mate :D

That was such a nice geture from forum member Gene. Looks to be a very good condition model, possibly mint...that reminds me, I am still chasing a minty #69 Rolls-Royce in Blue with the 'Long-Seat' moulding if any come along and a certain forum member is still feeling generous...

Ghosty.
