yes, the Tippax is very nice.
Is there much original paint left on the Commer? Do you plan to remove the overpainting?

Thanks - it is my second one of these with the Fine BPW

Dr. Jeep
Thanks - it is overpainted all over except for a lot of chipping which is down to the bare metal so I will probably leave it as is - I have a spare thick bumper model that is also overpainted so I might get some brake fluid and test it on this one.
Despite the overpainting on the clear window version there is none of it on the glass , the base or the bottle load - given the low cost I am very pleased with it

I think this job lot was quite good value - it worked out at £2.50 for each model
I was hoping the red ferrari might be RW but it is superfast as is the white beetle but at least they are not repaints and both are in good condition
The Morris Minor although just in the common colour is in great condition
The Ford Corsair has the silver painted base which was a nice surprise
The Horse Box is a Budgie model - I think the red cab/chassis may be a slightly harder to find version
The best buy is probably one of the ice cream vans as although it has a stained interior (nicotine?) it has the three way axle end on the nearside rear wheel
Happy collecting

Nice little collection and they certainly do look to be in good condition, shame then they had to be placed in a box with no dignity...

I think you're right - the red one is harder to find. You don't see this one very often in any colour, and yours looks pretty good. It's a nice little model, though not popular with collectors.

From the picture, it looks like the interior might be darker red than normal. Definitely worth checking!
Does the Hoveringham have silver trim? If it has green plastic springs it's a good find. And is that another Tippax without the hole?

Nice lot Sebastian.
Looks like there are both versions of the bedford Duple Luxury Coach (21a and b).

That is a previously unknown use of the three-way axle crimp. Could you please add a photograph and the Nick Jones variation code to the
relevant thread?

I don't think this helped the seller but they were well wrapped up when I got them - luckily the fragile milk float survived intact!

The red chassis budgie has a few differences from my white/tan example - the tailgate is tan colour on both sides rather than beige, the rear chassis holes are filled in and have a blob of metal on each side and the Horse Box has the number 25 cast on the inside wall behind the cab
The Corsair does have a darker interior than my standard version with the plated base and just fractionally darker than my other Corsair with the painted base - well spotted from the small size of the model in the photo!
The Hoveringham has silver trim to the radiator and headlights and has the translucent green suspension, the Tippax is just the common FBPW

The Ice Cream van is Nick Jones code 5 - sorry about the photo quality and distortion - I had to use a magnifying glass and lighten the colour using photo to bring out the detail on the axle end - the model is not curved at the base and is not metallic - just the standard blue
I will update the other thread and add photos

Definitely a three-way axle-end what a great find.
