Interesting treatment of the wheels. Model on left seems to have bare metal wheels while model on the right seems to have plated wheels, something to be seen on the Yesteryear Y-5 (B) Bentley wich also uses the No. 5 race decal.

Right or wrong, I always chalked up the difference to environment/oxidation.

Sorry Ghosty, one is only more shiny than the other. It's made from bare metal not plated, unfortunately not a variation.

Last purchase in the year 2018, just arrived.
I'm very happy with the purple glazing of the SF7.
All SF 34a have the small 4 spoke wheels, and the SF 25 has 5 sp wheels.

Good set of race cars there Sven but the bonus is the second box from the left is missing the word NEW from the end-flap, nice find.

I have a few more boxes without "new". Why are these boxes harder to find, Ghosty?

I do not know why they exist, but compared to the number of boxes with 'NEW', their existance is minimal.

Having been an obsesive collector of Rolls-Royce since the early 1980's, it is only in recent years I have been able to add the no 'NEW' versions of #24c and #69c to my collection!

Could manage to get a few display cabinets.
I'm glad with them, but I have to modify the smaller ones.
New home for some of my Matchbox:

The empty space between the two cabinets is for the smaller one.
After the modification I will post a new picture.
