Hi Gary! I will learn how to attach a photo to a post and show my hobbies - these are car models from the USSR, RAMI, DUGU, SAFIR, and I also make retro car models with my own hands and conversion (code 3). Alex.
I will be glad to cooperate. minialuxealex@gmail.com

Hello Alex welcome to the forum. Please do not be put off by the Open Letter to Non-Posters content as this does not mean you as you have not been here long enough for it to affect you... :D

Can I suggest when you do start posting pictures of your models the RAMI, DUGU, SAFIR items should be posted in here...https://www.vintagebritishdiecasts.co.u ... m.php?f=17

While any Restorations, Custom Builds or Rebuilt models should go in here...https://www.vintagebritishdiecasts.co.u ... m.php?f=18

Don't worry too much if you get it wrong as we can correct it later.

Many of the forum members now use postimage (or similar) to post pictures to the forum by first clicking this link...https://postimages.org/ then click on the Choose images box which takes you to your computer where you store your pictures.

Before doing all this, make a spare folder where you can store copies of all pictures of models you want to upload to the forum and when postimage opens up your Pictures location just choose your spare folder (suitably titled VBD Forum Images).

Any problems just shout...HELP!

Listen, it's very nice to feel the care of the moderators! I was persistent in getting activation on this HUGE forum and now I don’t feel like a newbie!))) Great, everything is clear to me. Literally this week I have to put a new rack for the collection, which I have not seen for 2 years in connection with the move. The collection was packaged and sent for storage to my parents. Can you imagine how much I missed ???

I can indeed. When I moved back to the UK from The Netherlands in 2004, my collection went back into the ammo chests it travels in. (Nice and cheap, but extremely robust.) It didn't emerge again until 2013 when I finally settled in N. Wales with my second wife (triumph of hope over experience and all that).
Unpacking everything and arranging it on the shelves was a real joy - exactly like meeting old, almost-forgotten friends again. It was especially pleasurable because, for the first time ever, I had a display cabinet for the gems.

Sizaire & Naudin. There's a name to play with.

How do rolls-royce, Park Ward, and Dixon of Dock Green get mixed up with this company?
