The models will not rusty.
I love these models as my wife, and wear them under my heart.
So will completely dries quickly after the tour.

Mike does like to handle his models a great deal. This is very hard on the old decals and will eventually lead to decal damage and heartbreak. And yes, putting the models through the extreme temp changes does cause harm to the decals and can lead to paint damage, especially in weak areas of paint.

Cold is also a factor where lead is involved with zinc. I would not subject any military models or early 50's models to such temp changes. These models have high lead content in the paints. This could cause areas of the paint to turn brownish or yellowish.

On the other hand, they are all Mike's models and he is free to enjoy them, handle them and place then where ever he sees fit. My comments are to address concerns that such handling might be harmful and I've stated the perils of such handling.

I do think a lot of the members here should log-on to...Collectaware.com to get a full understanding of what they should and could do, with their collections...

Today, back to the mountains with the
red Jaguar.
A beautiful sunny but very windy day in the mountains.
I had to keep the model on the mountain peak between the teeth.
My hands clutched at mountain peak the cross.

An encounter on the way down, a collector colleague with Husky models.

But, no idea. I only collect Matchbox models.

Yes please stay safe on your mountain Mike, do not trip and swallow model, recovery would be difficult
