Re: My latest news
Always fun to find a 53a Aston Martin! Does it have metal wheels or crimped axels?
The King size tow truck looks very clean.
Thank you for sharing.

It is code 6 with 10x24 grey plastic wheels and crimped axles.MatchboxFreak wrote:Does it have metal wheels or crimped axels?
Re: My latest news
My latest find is the 34a with silver plastic wheels.
It goes good together with the red brown one Matchbox made for EheimBrawa.
What makes me wonder is that the headlights are not painted. Regards

Re: My latest news
Hi all,
today - just in time for christmas - I received a parcel from Jason with these two models.
The 1a is the first one I ever held in hand and I hope that I can remove the blue colour from the red Jaguar wich would make a nice model too.
Otherwise I will give a repaint to it. Jason again many thanks for your generosity.
Mary Christmas to anybody

I was going to correct Stephan's Merry Christmas statement but on reading it again...it does work as it is, lets Marry Christmas to anyone!!

Re: My latest news
I helped a member of another toycarforum with some ladders for a Pilot fire engine made by 3D-printing.
Suprisingly yesterday I received a parcel with all this models just to say thanks.
I´m still astonished. Does one of you know how to handle the rivets of the cresent toy race car for disasembling.
This one will get some overhauling.

Re: My latest news
I've never done it myself, but rivets are typically undone by drilling. When re-assembling the model, you can use reproduction rivets (if available), screws, or some sort of adhesive. Other members, I'm sure, will have much more to say as regards that subject.Malibu wrote:Does one of you know how to handle the rivets of the cresent toy race car for disasembling.
That was a very nice thank-you gift. I'd be happy with any one of those Lesneys!

Re: My latest news
They are essentially the same as those we see on Lesney models and will drill out quite easily.
