Unfortunatly, those last pics were not good enough to see the detail in question, the original pics of the tanker in question was very high resolution and had good detail. However, speaking only for myself, I do not need any additional pics of axle ends to know what I am looking at.

I apologize for the bad resolution of the photos, but I can assure you that the closure of the axes of my models 62-63-64-68 is the same, if not worse ,than the model in question.

Thanks Dick, that's exactly what I wanted to say, we do not have enough evidence to make any judgements.

Just a suggestion.....The best way to settle all doubts and bring peace of mind is for lesney0905 upon agreement to send this BPW specimen to Antonin for a thorough in-hand inspection.Thereafter u can report the findings on this forum for closure.
