On a side note, I had the chance to purchase many of Dr. Force's LLEDOS, several of which were featured in one of his books/guides.
I have a few of his Dinky and Corgi items... I've also got a carton of Yesteryears that arrived from his collection, factory fresh, unopened, and stamped with two different labels as to its contents. I bought it very cheaply as a "lucky dip". It actually has 36 Y25 James Neale issue 13 models in it, one of which had a damaged wheel - I ended up auctioning that model (starting at $5.00) for the cost of the whole carton and replaced it with a spare one I already had in my collection.

New Dinky arrivals are slowly trickling in.... I've stopped buying on the international auction site as it now adds 15% for our version of VAT.

A lovely old Tekno. Really well engineered. These don't show up that often here in the Southern Hemisphere.

Lastly a Whitley bomber by an unknown manufacturer. Similar to the pre war Dinky version but with landing gear and cast in lead.

Hi Dave.

Nice tidy little collection you show. Is the green Lagonda in the first pictures by ODGI because it looks far too good to be a genuine Dinky issue!

Hey Kevin

It’s an original, bought cheaply. Bad photos didn’t do it justice. Will post a base shot when i get a chance.

Had never heard of odgi, had to google it.

Cheers
Dave

If you mean ebay, they have started charging all my customers for my local sales tax rate. At least ebay collects it directly and has to deal with paying the government.

Been picking up a few here and there. Several solo purchases and four groups below have all turned up this week.

Lyons Guy Van was the last Guy variation I needed. Hard to find as one produced for 1 year. This one will do until I can find one in better condition.

Picked all the lots below up from a single seller. Couldn't resist because the condition is so good. Original Auction photo's didn't do them justice, but the general lack of apparent paint damage convinced me to purchase.

Once I'd purchased the above the seller listed the group of Spot On's below, these are usually too rich price wise for me, But I negotiated a decent Buy Now based on the above prior purchases.

When they arrived it took me several hours to clean them up from all the dust and grime they were covered in.

The Dinkys polished up nicely:

I thought I'd done a reasonable job on cleaning them up but these close up show more work to do one some of them.....

You have got some nice examples there. The Spot-Ons certainly suffering the ravages of time over the Dinkies but it is nice to see the traditional ''LBL'' (Lines Bros Limited) index plates on some of them.

If the white tyreds on the Dinky Toys are original and not hard then definitely a good score as these are so hard to find still in usable condition and look much better than the modern over bright replacements.

Watch your picture file size again as they are tending to go back to being too large so we are losing some of the images.

Thanks Kevin, I am relying on postimage to resize and am using the same aspect I always have. I will drop it down a size for all future posts.
