You guys across the Pond are beginning to make me a bit skiddish about joining this particular conversation at all.... LOL
Graham immediately reminded me of a younger David Crosby, of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young fame at Woodstock. I was driving my 1964 VW Van at the time of the concert in 1969, but the New York State Thruway had been closed by the time I had even heard of it. I missed that chance to see my favorite guitarist Jimi Hendicks live, but I later got to see another favorite rock group of mine, The Who, performing 'Tommy' when it was brand new (Pete did not smash his Guitar that night). I am also a fan of Deep Purple, but you can't beat early Eric Clapton during his days with Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker in Cream. 'Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end, we sung and danced.........' And also did a lot of other things we would not admit to Mum and Dad. kwakers
