Great idea - let me see if I could get the stair and front wheel as spareparts.
I wonder if the stairs off this bus are the same as the motorized bus? If so, you can have this one.
Hi Joe,
If I can´t get the sparepart from modelcarparts I will get back to you.
Thanks.

Hi,
some new models from the last 3 weeks.
I´m not sure about the MG with two different type of wheels - fake or oops?

Interesting wheels on the MG and certainly a factory oops seems very likely assuming the base rivets are undisturbed. The model was introduced during 1966, while the 'Chromed' hub design makes an appearence during 1967, so was in production while the new wheels were in use on other models in the range.

The peened axle end looks to lie very deep in the hub, as if it might be undersized.

Here´s a picture of the rivet and the axle end.
On the other side it is not necessary to remove the basplate to make a tyre change.

Compared with the axle end of the Volkswagen there is no big difference.
Maybe the axle end is graved inte the plasic of the hub while playing with the model?

Thank's for the baseplate picture. The rivet looks good to me and I agree on the amount of playware resulting in the axle-end receeding back into the wheel.

Certainly looks like it could be genuine.

Much it is the same with my collection Stephan, so I know, that it is always a thrill to find a model in nicer condition.
Congrats !
