Many thanks for this interesting survey of packaging types!

I just want to mention that the blisterpack types called "French blister" and "Spanish blister" above were certainly not exclusive to those countries but were available in many different European countries. I know we had both types at various stores here in Austria.

Also note that the German (and Austrian) Easter egg multipack is a sleeve pack which has the models packed individually in single blisterpacks of the same type as inaccurately called "French". Here in Austria, those Easter egg packs were available at Hofer stores in early 1988, and after Easter that year the remaining packs were broken up and the models sold individually in their single blisterpacks at the very cheap price of ATS 12.50 each (the normal price for a MB Miniature at the time was ATS 29).

I remember this vividly, as it was one of the formative events which turned me into a serious variation collector.
