Ok. I'm leaving... shamy and confused I am.
NO! come back and become unconfused...
Can I say how pleased I am with the responce to this. It was not aimed at so many members as a little quiz, but clearly you have enjoyed it, so it may become a regular feature.
Now, "Johnboy" has been the nearest so far with finding the last visible difference when he mentioned the seats (seat, oops, there, I've given you a clue!!), so I expect a quick answer on my desk before we all go home tonight!!

No, it was not the intention of Matchbox to offer Two different models, it came about through prolonged production and the use of more than one set of tools to cast the components and this is not unique to the Rolls-Royce here.

Could I please ask this German person to remember, we are not currently doing this quiz in the grounds of Colditz castle, thank you.

The only difference (if it is even a difference) I can see between the two models' seats is that one looks to have more sheen and saturation than the other.

It certainly is to do with the seat, so stick with that and don't wonder off and start looking at other details...

There is a sheen difference between the Two, but not of significance to warrant a variation on these models, but keep looking at the seat, the front one, not the back one.

Seat on left hand model is infinitesimally wider

Now then, either you have good Eyesight (from past messages between us I don't that is true!!), or you have just remembered an earlier post about these models where I pointed out the wider seat (infinitesimal, well not really, as its something I had seen without a ruler, just my Eyes), so well done Bob, you have Won a Day out with me at a toy fair of your choosing, where I teach you how to spot variations...
