Haha perfect analogy.

Got a couple of future restoration projects in the mail today. I'm VERY excited about these! Been after a transitional land rover fire truck for ages.

Got a pretty good deal in the mail today! $4 shipped for this, and it even has the back door still intact.

Hi Logan, sorry for the delay.

Thank's for the additional details on your Two #24 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow models. I have been trying to log the wheel mould numbers of certain early issue 'Superfast' models and the #24 with 'Trim-Strip' is the earliest 'Superefast' version but 5 or 6 models fall into the same category and I am trying to make sure they are in the right order, so that's why it was handy to note the wheel mould numbers on your's, thank's again for being so prompt with the information.

Glad to be of assistance!! I have another one at home that I restored a while back. I'll try and remember to look at it when I get back there.

So this minty little Road Dragster arrived today. Not something I would normally collect, but since I am going for the entire 1970 lineup, this one does barely fit into that category, even though it isn't a transitional strictly speaking. VBD says it came out in late 1970 in time for Christmas, replacing the #19 Lotus. Does anyone else agree that it has a place in my Lesney collection?

If you are collecting the 1970 models as catalogued in the pocket catalogues, then #19 dragster will have to be ignored as it did not appear in the 1970 editions. It first appears in the 1971 editions.

I knew I shouldn't be buying ones I was one the fence about until I unpack my 1970 catalog!
Oh well, it was like $3 shipped.

Well, the way I see it...when you've completed the 1970 collection...you'll be tempted to do it all over again, but with 1971 models, and you already have a head start... :D
