Thank's Reg for the link. It is a lovely colour combination of dark Steel Blue with the Tan interior, but has play ware chips around the body so at £112, yes a little steep .

I don't think any tatty examples should be Three figure sums, only Mint in box warrant such premium prices and then preferably the very first blister carded versions.

Another one missed . Had a huge bid (120 quid ) on this one to make sure i won it but it looks like a deal was made for a buy it now price and the seller ended the auction early . Time to start sending buy now offers on any i see , auction or not.Where's santa when you need him.

Here are mine to date darker blue with amber windows is the export model in lhd without vauxhall cast in the back panel , colour variety and combination of interiors and windows is astounding
Toyota is a quick repaint in the gift pack white
OMG , I have just noticed the steering wheel is on the opposite side on the export model :shock: . How coooooool . Now i want one even more . I have bid on 3 and lost all of them . At least im consistent :lol:

toyota 2000 is hard to find in the gift pack white , they don't turn up often in the normal metallic red either good luck finding a spares one

Hi Stu. The Toyota 2000 GT was specifically made in White for the Japnese market at first using a catalogue number allocated to a Ford Thunderbird that was not issued as 1 of 7 models made directly as a 'Flyer' model, not a converted Impy Supercar.

They were marketed in the UK a little later in fully closed colourful 'Flyers' box. Original Japanese blister carded examples are hard to come by in the UK, but the internet has helped in this respect.

More on this model when it appears in "Fixer's" Lone-Star varitions casting show.
