Thanks for the Nigle Clark website link - some great photos indeed and very glad to see no traces of the 2 line GREEN Pickfords in the rare variations sections -a 1980s made for collectors variation from our previous discussion

A brilliant display of photos from Nigel's collection, can they be parked here for more to enjoy. Is that feasible or something Nigel would agree to?

A couple of years back, Nick had an in depth discussion with Nigel and part of that discussion was about his web pages. According to Nick's comment, Nigel is still active in the hobby and is collecting once again. He also commented that Nigel would like to rebuild his web site. I got the distinct impression that Nigel will do something about his site if and when he has the time.
Nigel owns the intellectual rights to his site and anything regarding display of all or part of that site will be the site owners sole decision.

While Nigel had a large and impressive collection with many rare models. His collection did not contain every known rare model. His web pages only illustrate a fraction of his collection. To make assumptions based on a fraction of a persons (former) collection is simply silly. Only Nigel can tell you if he once owned a two line Green Pickfords van and what conclusions he has made about such a model.
At this point in time, there is no conclusive evidence either way about the model. The only known fact is that the model is out of the timeline for the decal. Many models with rarities that are out of the time line have been authenticated in the past. It's still possible for more facts to come forward to either confirm or condemn this particular variation.
If you are basing your assumption on the ramblings of one publicly disgraced dealer/collector who has a very sorted past with fakes & fraud ... you know what they say about the word "assume."

I did offer to host Nigels site as part of my site like I do with Pat's box site but Nigel said he was hoping for it to go live with his own host, This was a few years back and I have not seen Nigel since then.
