Hi all,
today I went to a toy/ scale car fair in Hamburg. It was not only a wunderful day because I found some nice items for my collection, I also met Kay after a loooong time again.
Kay is such a dear! He is so friendly and knowledgeable about Matchbox toy's. His table was full of superb Matchbox toys and it was great talking with him about Matchbox, Matchbox, and.....Matchbox.
It were fantastic four hours and I'am looking forward to the next meeting in Hamburg.
Here are my finds from today. I brought the G-5 Giftset and Major Pack M5a from Kay, thanks again! :)

Greetings,
Linus

Wow Linus, you are on a roll mate!!!.

I like theSF#22 with the black ladder which is a harder variant to find, however i love your RW#41b "D" Type Jag which looks in great condition.

Yes, all very nice Linus, it sounds like you had a great time. Especially like that nice Jag too, and the Aral Tanker and the red dome.

Hi Linus,

you did extremely well at the show - I have to admit that I'm a bit jealous about that red dome light 55d Mercury that you found in the wild! :)

It has been a pleasure for me to being back to the Hamburg train and toy show. I haven't been there selling for nearly one and a half year, so it was a nice "coming home" In the early years of my collecting I did not miss a single show there - but that was back in the early 90's.
This time I came with a Matchbox collecting friend who is a total newbie to collecting and all of the scene - and it was a great experience for him as well.
There are still a handfull of Matchbox collectors coming there, and I had a great time talking to everybody.
We'll be coming back for the next show in late September, that's for sure (I have already booked our two tables).

Kay

Thanks for your kind comments guys!
I really like the Jaguar, too. I bought it from a good friend at the toy fair!
I bought the #22 Blaze Buster with my last 1€ in my purse after a long discussion with myself about spendig this euro for a Matchbox or a burger for lunch
The Mercury with red dome was a lucky find in a box with other Matchbox. It was one of the greatest toy fair days ever and I'am always smiling when I see these updates in my showcases!

Happy collecting,
Linus

Hi all,
Yesterday I went to a large fleamarked in Hamburg.
The hunt for some matchbox toys last more than two hours but it was worth the effort!
It was one of the best fleamarked I ever visited and I'am very happy with the result.

Nice items in good conditions and some spare parts sources:
-military bulldozer with original tracks
-Canopy for Ford Pick' up
-YY firemen(of course without their heads)
-two loose motorcycles. I don't know what's the case in England but here in Germany you usually find a trailer without the motorcycle :?

And I finally found a dark grey Y6! :)
I bought the Siku Mercedes 280SL for my father who had to work the whole weekend.
I bought most of the items from different sellers, but all in all I payed 20€ for the lot.

But see yourself in the pictures!

Greetings,
Linus
