Some amazing sights to behold and thanks for posting guys. The things I like to see beside the Matchbox goodies are those little personal items, non - matchbox related, tucked away in little corners. You see some funny stuff pop up and I often wonder what the story is behind them - are they toys had as a child or to replace memories from when you were younger etc. I always want a Dan Dare space Station control centre and a set of Dinky racing cars I used to have but have never bought them as yet for one reason or another but if I did they would certainly go in with the rest of the collection.

Many thanks for posting the photos of your magnificient toyroom.

Mine says farm set. I bought the box empty on ebay because I had never seen it before. Now I know it had boxed models in it. I took a photo but forgot to upload it to my photobucket last night. I will try to reply with the photo tonight. On your 11th photo top right is a Candian set which recently was discussed here.

Re: Show us your toy room!
Some AMAZING collections there.
Nice to see there are some more collectors of more modern matchbox too. Apart from Reg, not many convoy collectors though.
I'd offer up some pics of my own collection, but all the shelves are now bare
I emptied the last shelves for photography yesterday. Can't believe its taken over 6 months to get this far. But I'll put a pic up of what i'm keeping soon. It'll all fit on one pic!!! LOL

Re: Show us your toy room!
I had the good fortune to visit with Tom and his toys back in July. In a word it was "OVERWHELMING"! I found myself wishing I had a sleeping bag and a couple of extra days to just look and talk with Tom. Great collection and even greater guy!

I don't think we have seen your hallway before Tom. A truly outstanding display of Mighty Midgets, Budgie Toys, Dinky, Blue Box, Impy and other toy brands there.
Shame those pesky foreign English Matchbox toys are ruining the display. They make it all to crowded. You should really pack them all up and sent them out here to the colonies!
Cheers Steve
