I do not have codes 1 and 2 to check if the brace is also present.

Interesting. My code 2 has the braces, implying that your braceless body may be a late pre-production item which made it onto a production model.

Oh come on Hugh, don't tell Jason that...he's got enough 'Pre-Pros' already, damm it...!

Ghosty.

The body is not quite prepro as the body rivet posts are an oval shape, not sure why this body has no side braces but it adds to another variation to look out for.
I purchased this model because it had hubcaps so there should be more out there. J

Just picked up a mint code 3 again without the side brace, must be some hub/tyres without this brace. J

I can confirm Jason code 3 without door braces and also his code 5 in darker red with off white interior.
Can anyone with a code 2 or code 4 check their models for door braces please, Thank you.
I also noticed the hubcap wheels are quite a bit smaller than the hub & wheel, Can someone with calipers measure them for me so I can correct the page.

Hello Nick,

As per your request for someone to measure both the hub type and hubcap type and confirm are the same size at 10.5mm

Here are a couple of images.

Both sets were measured cold and at 34psi :) :)

Thanks for that Yellowfoden.
I just checked my three again, I have one with hubcaps and one with hubs that are both the same size at 10.5mm, I also have one in the darker red with hubs like Jasons but it seems to have bigger tyres than my other two models although the hubs are the same size. Can Jason confirm the larger size tyres on his darker red model as I'm not sure if these are the original tyres or they started out on something else and got swapped onto this model at a later date.

Hi Nick,
All my models are around the 10.5mm size, John showed the different shade in models so I am not sure what he has.
Although I do have this shade difference but still all the same size roughly. J
