nice one Alex much better than mine
download/file.php?id=2407 download/file.php?id=2406as you say possibly label swaps but who knows , do they show any signs of being peeled off and replaced on your wildcat and if you got it cheap a great gap filler either way

Reg, i have looked at the label through a loupe and it shows some wear so i am happy it has been on the model for a while but there is no doubt in my mind that it is unlikely that it left the factory with this label. This is definately a reassigned label as are all "Rat Rods" onto Wild Cats IMHO. (It would be very interesting to know when your version attained its labels given the level of wear it now has)........could some of these have left the Factory with these labels attached after all???? Over to Mick and Christian on that possibility???
I will however say that i welcome it to my collection as it looks great.

Quite possible, Alex... it seems to me that the 'Rat Rod' Mustangs had these stickers applied around the time of manufacture, since they show a 'natural' wear on many examples I've seen, including Reg's. However, to be absolutely sure, it would be good to find a 'Rat Rod' Mustang sealed in its blisterpack (if any exist).
Btw, well done on the Rolls, it's a superb model, and a keeper for sure!
Cheers, Ken

Thanks Ken, I am still of the opinion that all Rat Rod mustangs have reassigned labels. I have never seen one in a blister.
The roller is paticularly nice as i have been searching for one almost daily for months. Now i have one....what will i do with my time??

Well, I'm sure there are many elusive models you haven't got yet, enough probably for a lifetime of 'hunting'! Then there are the boxes in all their different 'flavours', not to mention accessories! Don't worry, Alex, I have a feeling you're going to busy for quite a while yet!
Cheers, Ken
