This whole mess reminds me of another former member. She who shall not be named is once again selling Hard-to-Find Matchbox models. Just a warning to those who might be tempted to bid on them ... don't do it! She's also changed he name again: think "Global."
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

Joe I realise that you do not want to state "she who cannot be named" Ebay user name, however you might need to help some of the forum members including myself with some better clues.
I know you are referring to "C" but i have no knowledge of what name she is presently trading under.

I done lots of Deals with the lady in question that involved hundreds if not thousands of $$$ and I can honestly say I never had any problems at all with her and always found her to be ok! just saying.
Re: open toe #7
Her morals are completly screwed up. She bids and then cancels bids on ebay to get an upper hand on auctions. She has tampered and ruined countless ebay auctions, fabricates claims that are not true in her own listings and is oblivious to rational thought. She also has some reading disorder and never reads the auction listings she bids upon. While she may not have screwed you, she has screwed many others. Just like the crook & fraudster S.Beach, she manages to keep her feedback positive (and then turns around and screws then next unsuspecting person).tjlglass wrote:I done lots of Deals with the lady in question that involved hundreds if not thousands of $$$ and I can honestly say I never had any problems at all with her and always found her to be ok! just saying.

Back to Gary, he certainly seems to be going through some hard times and there is no doubt his emotions are running higher then ever.
I have personally heard both sides of the story concerning two different failed deals involving Gary. I spoke with Gary on the phone concerning both of them. I also had several communications with the two individuals who feel ripped off. After hearing quite a bit from all parties involved, I came to a conclusion. The bottom line is that I told Gary he needed to man-up and resolve these issues. In other words, I felt the facts pointed straight to Gary being the problem in the two different deals. I also feel Gary is the "problem" in the deal with Hugh.
This is a hobby and sometimes trades and sales cost the seller more than they think it will and net them less than they expected. Trades might feel lopsided at some point. But, when one person decides to change their mind after the fact, that's when it all goes to crap. Gary has seriously failed to communicate with people, accepted money and models and failed to live up to his side of the deals. Unless he can correct his failure to communicate and complete these past transactions to the satisfaction of the other parties, there are members here who will always have a resentment with his presence here and with his postings.
It matters not if he was once a "good guy" who made honorable trades and deals or that he's very talented. What matters is that something happened with him and now he's a source of anxiety and frustration for several members who simply want to enjoy their hobby.
George, I know we all want to give our friends the benefit of the doubt. But there is more than doubt in a few of his failed deals and the problem is on Gary's end of these deals.

Re: open toe #7
The fact that she finds it necessary to keep changing her Ebay name should be a red flag to all. (Dealers keep their names so that their customers can i) find them again, and ii) recognise their listings. It also enables them to build up a credible feedback score. The fact that C doesn't follow this pattern should give immediate cause for concern with anyone unaware of the revelations previously made on this Forum.)Tinman wrote:"Global Sales"

Re: open toe #7
The fact that she F******d up the Reverse wrecker auction for her own selfish means was the ultimate betrayal to the Matchbox collecting community and that poor seller. Unforgiveable!!!
IMHO.

I hear what you are all saying but all my dealings with her were via this site, I have no dealings with U.S. Ebayers any more due to the stupid postal programme and would have no idea of her sellers name/names. I'm just saying that she bought lots of Matchbox off me with little or no problems.
