I was at Reading with my son, so managed to have a good walk around, rather then being "stuck" behind my stall. Did pick up a few things, including a mildly playworn # 58 Woosh n Push in metallic purple with #8 stars/stripes sticker for £1, plus a couple of redline hot wheels for not a lot more!

Will be at both Brentwood (first time for me) this Saturday (14th March) and Kempton on Sunday, with my usual high quality selection of stock, so might see some of you there! (couldn't resist the shameless plug).

Stephen

Yeah, sorry Stephen I was not on-hand at Reading to look after the table while you went for your little walk and spending spree, but glad you had your Son to stand in for me this time...

Take care Stephen, see you around.
Ghosty.

I think I was the only dealer with any large amount of 1980-95 items, quite a few of the dealers didn't know the dateline had been moved. Had a slow start, but ended up having quite a good fair. I'm heading to Kempton this Sunday (just about within reach of me here in Dorset).

Had a great day at Carlisle, the venue was a good size with approx 50 - 70 tables with a good variety of diecast and train crap. I didn't have a lot of cash to spend, but regardless i still came home with a couple of Matchbox models. I will certainly be revisiting Carlisle in the future. It has free parking, a great cafe, clean toilets and one thing wich i consider very important, the hall has great natural sumlight shining through large roof windows so that you can see the genuine colour of the models you are looking at, which is something you cant at the likes of the Birmingham NEC!!!

By the way, they didn't mention on the advertising for the Carlisle meet that there is a Early bird entry from 8:30 for £5, I arrived at 9:30 so god knows what went before i got there!!

Anyway i would recommend it, It is not a big meet but there was quite a lot of diecast and a reasonable amount of Matchbox RW YY SF Majors etc etc

Heres a link to the models i picked up

That is a new venue Alex, The old place was much smaller with very few windows, Glad you had a good day!.
I went to Brentwood, Arrived at 7.00 for early entry. Got a Husky Chitty with a lot of metal fatigue for £5 but I only wanted it for the figures in the car for another much nicer model that has none, Also picked up a mint dark gold SF Miura and a metallic green Group 6 with one chip, Both were boxed but the boxes have one endflap missing but for £8 the pair I could not leave without them, That was about it as far as purchases were concerned, Met up with Reg (Fixer), Steve K (Stevek), Stephen K (also a forum member, 0 posts yet!) Graham (Rockertron) and his pal Steve (yes another one). We had our now regular meeting in the snack bar and Graham showed us some very nice pre pro SpeedKings,
