SPECIAL TOY FAIR NEWS...

A Mr "Ghosty" is being pushed into a corner and is swearing under oath to attend the Sandown Park toy fair. It has been pointed out to him he has some business with a Mr "tjlglass" and an apology to a Mr "fixer", so any other parties with interests with Mr "Ghosty" should also be in attendance.

Hi all another Sandown has come & gone We had a terrible journey down 60 miles of fog people shooting pass me like I was stood still especially white van man, they must be doing over a 100 mile an hour. Quite a few early morning punters met up with Graham had a quick chat he brought a few bits for me which I had brought from his last ebay auction & a couple of bits off his site. Once again quite a few matchbox about but nothing mint. I spoke to a dealer at the NEC last week who had picked up a small collection of matchbox in it was a no 11 Petrol Tanker in green, he had offered it to Vectis but I asked him to give me a chance he brought it down today to show me it was in superb mint condition no chips or scratches, box had seen better days, it was big bucks but I had to buy it. After a couple of hours we had our last walk round & just happened to spot a few matchbox on a stall which had all new stuff on, what did I see but a Citroen in a D box slight crease on one end flap that went straight in my box. My son phoned me up saying that the M40 was closed owing to a 40 car pile up, it took us nearly four hours to get home, what a nightmare. This has been one of my best Sandown for a long time Pete.

Good to hear Sandown was good.
In the Netherlands we got the news about the closures of motorways in the uk because of the frog.

That D box for the Citroen is very very rare.

There is currently one on Ebay which is already 400 usd.
