Great find Jason and quite a rare piece, at toyfairs it is also sometimes missed due to the quality of light, congratulations.

Reg In my opinion, on such a play worn example, there is no reason to question if these axle clips are not original to the model. :)

TBH I cant see the fuss over red clips as they turn up all over the place and can be swapped by any dexterous monkey
it is my only silver back though

Agree, why would someone change to rare Red clips but leave old wonky wheels in place... :)

Hi Reg, not one I have seen before but I think it would be genuine. Another one to look out for and add to the ever growing list.
Finally got this superb 27b in a nice box as well, this now completes one of each model with a box. Very happy indeed, expensive but well worth it.
