So was it Eric Jonkers who originally contacted me and was using me as a sounding board - I know that was an opinion expressed.
The only way he can be directing threats to you Joe is if he has access here.

Just spent some time re-reading all the posts and feel that the conclusions reached were based on the shared evidence.
I agree with what Joe said "I fall back on my original advice, if the owner wants to know if the model is real or not, he/she needs to send it to a lab for spectroscopic analyses of the paint."

I think there is a reasonable chance that Eric Slager and Eric Jonkers are the same person. Not only is 'slager' Dutch, it also means 'butcher' - highly appropriate given the modified models he offers for sale.

I love these 'By allowing these outings to violate the rules of the forum, you are at risk of legal action' posts. What a load of crap - who is going to sue Joe from Holland or wherever and pay an expensive legal bill to satisfy a fake model. He risks having the item scrutinised even more thoroughly than it would be here as he would have to have it examined scientifically to prove his point and if found to be fake he would incur all legal costs.
