Sorry for the delay but today I emailed all of the purchasers a confirmation that their payment had been received. my apologies for the time it has taken. I needed to use my laptop to send out multiple emails, as it was I spent a whole morning doing it, If I had tried to do it on my mobile phone it would have taken me days. Due to the laptop being a strange voltage (19v) I can't use it on the boat.

This just goes to show what a worldwide hobby ours is.
They include adaptors to take your 12v supply, convert it from DC to AC, multiply it slightly and convert it back to DC to a voltage that will power laptos and smaller LED TV's including units that require 19v (a very common operating voltage for laptops).
So many different destinations your book is heading to already, I bet its pleasing to you to know this, and nice to see an example of how widely appreciated our hobby is.
Long may it continue, especially with the younger collectors...hope it doesn't burn out, I have hope yet as my son is only 4 years old and he looks forward to the postman coming even more than I do, maybe it's because he's 4 going on 40 or maybe because he knows my collection is all going to him one day, well for now he can make do with his hot wheels
We hear a number of similar stories of current collections being destined for Children and this is great to know it stays in the Family and one can hope they show just as much interest as we do and hope they don't just sell it all off for Monetary gain.
If I had a collection passed onto me by my Father, I would find it very hard to move it on as it would have so much sentimental value and it would have to be a situation of desparation that moves then on.
I agree with everything you say and I also couldn't part with anything given to me by my father for the same reasons, when I mention to my lad that he can do what he wants with them when he's bigger including sell them, he gets a little upset and says I am not selling them, it's funny in a way because he is so grown up for his age.
Regarding the gold and silver coins I collect, these will also be passed on to him and I am already telling him these are for investment in ways he understands obviously so he doesn't get sentimentally attached to them, I also have a savings account for him, hopefully it will all help him out one day in the future as I am only 40 myself and intend to keep adding to it all indefinitely.

Yes he is becoming very level headed, I can't believe how clever he is, he constantly surprises me and I'm very proud to be his dad, he is my world ....and yes he does listen to everything and nothing gets past him, also to your other question he always asks how many pounds or penny's is this model worth.
