This type of rivet finish is commonly found on Brazilian models. I have a couple of models in my collection with similar rivets. They look just fine to me.

Matthias, none of the experts on this forum would make any negative comment about any of your genuine models, however as you have recently developed a love of fakes and post images of them without advising other members that they are fake then certain comments by other members about your fakes become wholly justifiable. It may not be important to you however many of us feel that we have an obligation to ensure that less informed collectors visiting this forum are not fooled into thinking the fake models you portray as genuine prepro or very rare models are real and use your images as a reference guide. No apologies from me, for you Matthias have brought this upon yourself.

Quite a few Brazilian models have rivets like that.
Interesting that they didn't use Lesney technology for the riveting process. Was Lesney perhaps still using an old-fashioned system whilst better alternatives had become available in the meantime?
