I have sent Brad and Jim an email that I will NOT longer try to log in.
I will not yet delete my membership.
It is an ungoing saga.

It is with regret that I had to decide not to post and not to read any more post on the cobratoys forum.
To many times after months that there are still faults and it is to often that I can not log in.

For me it is unbelievable that Mattel is a main contributor to the gathering and they can not help out with money to get the forum running.

I have asked them if it ever works again that they please will sent me an email as from now on I am not planning to log in and trying to read post.
It is a pitty as the MCCH is no longer what it used to be since a few years because of Mark etc.
This Vintage forum is nice but it is not so complete for modern Matchbox.
The world could still use a good forum for modern Matchbox.
I had hoped the Cobratoys would have been that but to many times it is not possible to log in.

I hope they will get this fixed some-day.
At the moment I will not yet delete my membership.

Brad is working on the new forum. He's got everyone's membership and login data entered in on the UK site address and now has to bring over all the forums from the old site. He getting settled in from his move and working long hours at his new job, so please have patience and it looks like he will indeed get things sorted.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

I think his site is now sorted. He moved it back over to the UK based one again at the weekend, but it seemed to be full of errors. Then yesterday it was gone again for the day. I logged in this morning and it looks like he upgraded it. It has a new look and is (so far) completely stable. I made a couple of posts and everything went extremely smoothly. I think he is finally there.

Hopefully this will mean things will settle back down and we can continue to use it, especially for the focus on more current stuff. Thanks to Brad for all his hard work. I am sure he was extremely frustrated with how things went recently.

:) :D :P

Marcel,

Yes, I can report that Brad's new and improved forum is running as everything should.
Everything loads and posts very fast. There is no problem staying logged in from visit to visit. The site is very stable and there are no problems with posting, photos, editing or quoting in posts.

Brad's forum is fixed, improved for the better and waiting for all it's members to rejoin the fun.
