Now checked all the models I have, all models have this brace. Making this BPW version earlier than all mine . J

Hi Jason
I have checked all my 65b Jag and all have the motor block brace. Only the dark blue Jag has no motor block brace.

Your model is hard to place somewhere in chronological line:
casting without motor block brace - early dating
clear window - early dating
opening bonnet with smaller ejector ring - early dating
red colour - later dating
black wheels - later dating
no bonnet badge - later dating
Has your model central strengthening motor brace?

Hi Antonin, this model is metallic red but with trim applied to the rear bumper. Do you have any with silver trim to the rear bumper?. J

Re: 65b Jaguar 3.8 litre Saloon
Sorry Jason, I thought that it is red painting. I have checked my models and I have no model with rear silver trim, even the dark blue Jag or Jag with GPW ø9,5x20 have no rear silver trim.

Hi Jason
I'd foreseen the start of BPW ø9,5x20 in early 1963, what do you think? But the birth of 65b Jag was in the early 1962.
