Same here Wolfie, the first, really hard part is done and over, now we all hope the recovery is smooth and mostly painless for you, but at least you know everyone is wishing you well and trust you can keep your chin up.

Please do keep posting on the forum, it helps to keep us forum members educated and gives you something to concentrate on, taking your mind of your current problem and that should help with your recovery.

Wear an eye-patch, Wolfie - far more distinguished!
Best wishes for a full recovery, and I sincerely hope that our paths will cross sooner rather than later.

So glad to hear you've completed this first huge hurdle Wolfie. I'm sure you will have "up" days and "down" days as you go along this journey. Just remember to go play with your #6D Ford models every day you need a "little pickup"! ;)
All the best as you continue to mend!

Glad to hear you are through that and on your way back.
The eye patch does look pretty cool, but there are some other choices that you might want to consider:
1. Laser eye (AKA Terminator)
2. Happy face eye (what movie was that?)
3. Marble eye (not the stone, the toy)

You could also keep an extra in your pocket. When kids come around you place it on their head and in a spooky voice say "I've got my eye on you" (that will not make anybody feel weird I'm sure)
I hope I'm not offending anyone here, I have found that in challanging times, and times when things are out of ones control, laughing is better then being sad.
