Talk about living and learning! After all our thoughts on 'lazy listers' etc, I came very close to falling into the same trap myself!
Take a look at the first pic of the Lambo joblot. Just behind the Jaffa with label there is a small black sports racing car. I was rather curious about it anyway as I'm a bit of a sports car fan so was pretty eager to find out what it was when it arrived..... Nearly put it in the bin. Some bl~~dy transformer type thing that turns into a robot  I wouldn't even chuck it in my son's toy box, it just ain't proper enough.

I have a reluctance to put useable toys in the bin, so I cleaned it up with the rest of the lot and put it to one side ready for the charity shop. I had noticed a name and number on the base, so figured I'd 'google' it just to see what came up. Well, it's not a 'Transformer', it's a Bandai Go-Bot, and it, sorry 'she' is called 'CRASHER' and if you want to be amazed go and do a completed listings search on ebay for them - code number is MR-20. Put it this way, there are plenty Matchbox that go for less than this thing does if it's carded :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Still think it's a piece of crap though - I must be getting old

A side effect of collecting only those models I like is a bit of variation :D

I'll stick a bit about the Condon in the appropriate thread, the Mercedes and Dodge both came in a lot which had been 'detailed' - the pics were lousy and I was taking a chance that the SF 37 Skip Truck did have a blue skip. It didn't.
The Merc is a Majorette and hasn't been over detailed, the Dodge is my favourite colour variation of the modern ones. I don't mind the deleted axle from the original, but it would have been nicer imho if they'd left the grille and lights silver and fitted rear mudguards.

It's been a busy start to the year, but lack of funds and a fast approaching holiday (read shopping trip) dictate that collecting must slow down a bit now. Well, I'll try
Rather than bore you all with the 'common' gaps I've filled since the start of the year I have arranged them to send you all a message - it's for all the advice, tips, encouragement, knowledge sharing and model swapping I've received from this forum and it's members. A Great Place To Be :D

I needed a cheap model to fix the parcel withdrawal symptoms I've been suffering from :D

Not quite as clean as my first Condon, and it does have a pinhole in the tipper body. The front axle was also bent in exactly the same place as the first one. This is the 'before' pic - I'll stick the 'after' one up in the Condon thread.

It's a SF - both of the Foden Concrete Trucks are. It is for sale or swap if you want it?

Hi Ewan.
I thought it is this model. (RW)
I am looking for a long time for a second model.
Only then get the models a code number on Nick's website.

Think maybe I should change my username to 'Foot In Gob' or whatever the online equivalent is! No sooner do I make declarations about what I am and am not collecting than the Gods of Matchbox Collecting start interfering with ebay's search engine. Listed quite simply as 'Die Cast' this arrived today. 99p plus postage well spent :D
