That brings the total to 4 being found within 4 months.The question persists as to whether the Jags without the decal rings had decals fitted since their initial run or were there some that had been produced & sold without any decals for whatever reasons and/or were the decals added on much later and also whether they had been fitted first with just the rear decals and then at the front or both front & rear simultaneously.

On closer examination, I noticed that one model (without decal guides) has the base plate with a protrusion, perhaps the rest of the exhaust.

We had a discussion on the cut out a while ago. (I'll see if I can find it.) The conclusion we came to was that the body was relieved in that side in order that baseplate and driver could be easily attached, the problem being that otherwise the drive would foul the body.
